Tārini (Shanna Dadisman) is a compassionate and highly experienced Yoga Therapist dedicated to guiding people towards empowered well-being. With a profound belief in the transformative power of a holistic approach, Tārini helps her clients break free from self-limiting patterns and embrace a healthier, more fulfilling way of living. Her practice extends globally, offering personalized support through one-on-one yoga therapy, engaging group classes, guided meditations, Yoga Nidra practices, and immersive wellness retreats.
Tārini’s own remarkable journey to healing began with the powerful synergy of Yoga and Ayurveda. From Sacramento, California, her path took a pivotal turn when she embraced the discipline of a yoga ashram. This immersive experience provided the grounding and clarity she needed, introducing her to classical yoga practices, Ayurvedic living, Karma Yoga, and ancient Hindu traditions.
Fresh from her yoga teacher certification, Tārini embarked on her first trip to India for an Ayurvedic Panchakarma cleanse, unaware of the profound connection she was about to forge. “When I arrived, it felt like I had finally made it home,” she recalls. She quickly fell in love with all aspects of India – the vibrant culture, the people, the food, the beauty, and even the challenges. This initial four-month stay left an indelible mark, leading her to plan her next journey back to “Mother India’s embrace” immediately.
All these experiences ultimately led her to her permanent home in Chennai, South India. For over six years now, Tārini has been deeply immersed in studying and teaching the Krishnamacharya Tradition, a journey that culminated in her becoming a certified Yoga Therapist. This dedication allows her to live a relaxed life as a modern yogini, a stark contrast to her life a decade ago, and a testament to the transformative power of her path.
Over the next two years, Tārini explored various facets of India, living simply near the beaches of Goa, experiencing rural life in the Himalayas, and dedicating a year to service at Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Hospital. There, she not only volunteered but also established their Balagrama Yoga Program for the boys’ home, witnessing firsthand the profound impact of these ancient sciences. These experiences, though not without their difficulties and lessons learned, continuously led her to deeper moments of self-inquiry and growth.
